Bengal governor C V Ananda Bose on Sunday appointed interim VCs in 6 state-run universities, prompting education minister Bratya Basu to question the timing and legality of the move. SC is now in the process of deciding on the composition of the selection panel that will choose permanent VCs for Bengal universities.
